Depending on the condition of the movement, it sometimes is more cost effective to replace the existing movement with a new unit.  Eight day clock movements are more subject to extreme pivot wear because of the heavier weight they carry (1200 to 1500 grams.)  We provide exact replacements for your cuckoo.  The most popular are manufactured by Regula and Hubert Herr.

In the case of antique clocks, it is extremely important to preserve the original movement.  If parts are needed that cannot be found, we have a full service machine shop that can duplicate most parts required for a nominal charge.

 

Cabinet restoration and/or rebuilding is also possible depending on the cottage style.  We can provide an estimate for any work you may require.

We are pleased to inform you that can also offer quality repairs on electric chiming mantle clocks as well as mechanical mantle clocks. Pricing is $129.00 for basic service, cleaning, lubrication etc. Please do not include winding keys when shipping your clock to us. Remove the pendulum and package with your clock. Follow the shipping instructions as outlined on our website. Upon examination of your clock, you will be notified of all repair costs needed. If your clock has a glass face, put two strips of masking tape across the glass to form an " X ". This helps absorb vibration during shipping of your clock.
